"Why Should we Study Political Philosophy?"

Friday, 20 September 2013 H-1220 – Hall Building at Concordia University

The Students of Philosophy Association present the very special and first installment of our colloquium series titled SoPhiA Talks.

This inter-disciplinary discussion will be led by Concordia’s very own Dr. Pablo Gilabert from the Philosophy Department and Dr. Travis Smith from the Political Science Department. All students and faculty are welcome.

This event represents the first interdisciplinary discussion between the departments of Philosophy and Political Science. The discussion aims to address the following question: What is Political Philosophy? In discussing what it entails, we hope to address the values, practicalities, application and merit of studying Political Philosophy.

Many thanks to the Philosophy Department, the Political Science Department and the Political Science Students Association for helping to promote the event.
