Iain Macdonald – Must There Be Art? Heidegger and Adorno on the Possibility of Art

Iain Macdonald (Philosophie, Université de Montréal)

“Must There Be Art? Heidegger and Adorno on the Possibility of Art”

Bonjour,

Hi,

We will end our first year of regular activities this coming Thursday at 8pm with Iain Macdonald’s presentation: Must There Be Art? Heidegger and Adorno on the Possibility of Art. As usual, we will meet in room 404 of the Thomson House (3650 McTavish). It sadly looks as though the text will not be available before the talk.

You will soon receive further information regarding Jean-Marie Schaeffer’s April 30th presentation at the Musée d’Art Contemporain.

Thanks for circulating this email widely among members of your faculty and your graduate students.

Nous terminerons notre première année d’activités régulières ce jeudi à 20h avec la présentation de Iain Macdonald, Must There Be Art? Heidegger and Adorno on the Possibility of Art.
